Valentino: Front Row, Paris.

Last show of the day and its only five o’clock. Almost feels like a part time job today. I have to admit though, everyone is getting a bit bored of being freezing cold. Anyway, here are Ten very important, you could even say vital, bits pulled from the press release.

1. Digital romanticism.
2. Noir innocence.
3. Candid and dark.
4. A natural instinct of creating.
5. A woman of the world.
6. Reconsideration and reinvention of elegance.
7. Favouring unexpected liaisons.
8. Couture constructions.
9. Aggressive by exasperation.
10. Digital poetry.

Chloe: Front Row, Paris

Marlboro Lights. No, I mean Camel Lights. Truth be told I have no idea what I mean. Anyway, it’s all about masculine tailoring with a feminine touch. Layered textures in a rainbow of camel shades. Very seventies American working girl even. You know, the kind Tom Petty sang about. In fact that should have been the show track. Loved the fly away hair bouncing all over the place and the Whitney come back sound. Luxe, luxe, luxe.

Thierry Mugler: Front Row, Paris.

Mugler’s back! And he’s looking good. Mama worked her magic on this too. Can’t you tell? Used to love this show. It was always my favourite Paris moment. High camp and and loads of Linda moments. Now the labels back under the direction of Rosemary ( his ex assistant ). It’s still super sexy but it’s been bought up to date. Think a ultra modern sex on legs super vixen. Well done Mama.

Chanel: Front Row, Paris

Thank you Karl Largerfeld. A runway in the shape of an iceberg- AMAZING, as Mama would say. Made my morning let me tell you. Fur, fur and more fur. Perfect attire for iceberg living, or should that be stomping? Anything less and you’d freeze to death. He even did furry legs! And no we don’t mean unshaven. We loved Chanel. Very much.

He says: A constant disappointment to me. Why drive all the way across Paris to have a quiche? To only have to turn around and go back to where we started from? There’s a cafe on every corner. Not happy. x
