Gucci

Born in 1921 in Florence, Gucci has long championed the fusing of Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design – brought back to prominence under Tom Ford in the 1990s. In its most recent incarnation, the house is headed by Italian creative director Alessandro Michele who has led the brand in a new direction – proposing a new aesthetic of blurred gender lines and romantic nostalgia. Or, in his words – ‘the freedom to choose who you are, beyond what has been dictated.’
