Rag & Bone

A rag-and-bone man used to collect unwanted items and recycle them. He was also called a bone grubber but that doesn’t really have the same ring to it. So why the name? ‘As an homage to their pioneering ingenuity and conservation,’ say Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, the Brits behind the brand. Because that’s what they do. But with clothes. Clothes people want to wear. Effortless, understated – it’s the New York aesthetic of the city they now call home.
