10 Looks Ermenegildo Zegna
Dear Stefano, “I was sick and tired of everything, when I called you last night from London. All I do is eat and sleep and sing, wishing every show was the last show. So imagine I was glad to hear you coming, suddenly I feel alright.”
I don’t know why your debut at Ermenegildo Zegna made me think of Abba’s Super Trouper. Maybe it was the line about the beams blinding me and not feeling blue, because there was blue in your collection. And murky beams of light on the models’ faces. And the models did sort of troop and it all looked super. And then that giant cosmic ball exploded, which made think of those flashing, multicoloured lights that made it look as though Agnetha and Anni were dancing on an intergalactic spaceship. Your clothes were chicer, though. Layered tailoring with coats draped off backs, and downy layers with hoods spread across the shoulders, making the models resemble superheroes. Zegna Troupers. Imagine being rescued by someone dressed in this, not spandex.
