Alexander McQueen To Move Men’s Show To Paris

AMQ-AW17-8

You know what’s been missing from our lives? Alexander McQueen menswear. We know, it hasn’t actually gone anywhere, it’s still alive and kicking and brilliant, it’s just that for the past few seasons they’ve ditched their runway shows in favour of lookbooks. Which are very nice and all (see above, shot by Ethan James Green) but we’re been craving a bit of “live action”, as it were. Good news, then, as this PM we’ve got word that they will show their menswear collection in Paris as the penultimate show of the season – specifically: 7.30pm on June 25, just before Kenzo. No word as yet for the motive behind the move (the house has previously shown in London and Milan) but the house does have a new CEO, Emmanuel Gintzburger, who started at the house last year, tasked with growing the brand. Either way – dead excited.
