CALVIN KLEIN RELEASE FIRST FRAGRANCE UNDER THE VISION OF RAF SIMONS

CAMPAIGN IMAGE
Isn’t it shocking that we’ve never had a chance to smell the vision of Raf Simons? The long-time fashion darling has been hitting it out of the park with every fashion house he’s had his hands on, but he’s never gone in the scented direction. The time is now. For the first time in 13 years, Calvin Klein are releasing a new pillar fragrance and it’s with the instructions of their Chief Creative Officer – Mister Raf himself. With silver screen queens of the moment in the starring roles, the fragrance simply called Women is the new scent we want to shower ourselves in. Lupita Nyong’o and Saoirse Ronan are the faces representing Raf’s vision of contemporary women, with their own icons Katherine Hepburn and Eartha Kitt, and Sissy Spacek and Nina Simone respectively, co-starring in the campaign images. Calvin Klein Women is inspired by the inherent diversity of contemporary female figures and their multitude of characters, all bottled up in a woody floral scent. Devised by perfumers Annick Menardo and Honorine Blanc, the notes of eucalyptus, orange flower and cedarwood blend into a perfume signifying warmth, strength and beauty, forming the essence of the multi-layered ideas of femininity today. It’s no surprise – Raf Simons and Calvin Klein are the masterful combination, the gift that keeps on giving. This is the smell of success.
