Each year, Fashion East’s show is the one we underline/circle/star/all of the above, with big red marker. Much in the same way as one might mark Home Alone or a Bond Movie in the Christmas telly guide, we are drawn to Lulu Kennedy’s creation each year without fail. Why? Reasons too numerous to list here, but as this year’s line up news proves, it is a guaranteed fixture of complete unpredictability, where creative juices flow at their freest.
So, on to this year’s line up. ASAI and Supriya Lele are both set to return, to be joined by runway-newcomer Charlotte Knowles and special guest Symonds Permain, who will make their London catwalk debut. “This may be our most proactive and definitely my favourite line up ever” says Fashion East Founder and Director Lulu Kennedy, “Each talent has a unique cultural and intellectual perspective visible in their work, they are informing and moving industry conversations forward.” A huge congratulations to all designers, we can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with this season.
The designers’ new collections will be shown on Sunday 18th of February at the Topshop showspace.
