For those of you who consume their news via Instagram, this is wholly irrelevant because you a) probably follow Jonathan Anderson, the man behind eponymous label J.W.Anderson and if you don’t, you should and b) will have thus seen the following announcement on Friday night: “Very excited to be the next special guest at #PittiUomo 14th June 2017. See you soon #florence,” followed” by 44 Italian flag emojis and nice B&W portrait. Which would suggest, or not really suggest at all, rather outright confirm that Mr Anderson will be this season’s Pitti Uomo guest designer, showing at the 92nd Pitti Immagine Uomo this June. We are VERY excited. We love JDubya. It’s all we know for now – stay tuned for the designers that will be joining him in Florence.
