Johanna Senyk’s Wanda Nylon Wins ANDAM Prize

A little snippet of Saturday fashion news for which to begin your weekend – Johanna Senyk’s brand Wanda Nylon, her of the plastic flasher macs, has scooped this year’s ANDAM prize. Which also means she’s also scooped €250,000 to invest in her brand and in the process beat out other such young luminaries as Koché, Aalto, Tim Coppens, Jacquemus and OAMC. Alongside that wad of cash, Johanna will also receive mentorship from Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, president and chief executive officer of Chloé. No word from Johanna yet (aka the article is locked on WWD) but we would imagine she would say something along the lines of: “I am honoured and excited to win this year’s ANDAM award and work alongside Geoffrey over the next two years”. There you go. Who needs reputable fashion news websites?
