Felicitations go to Juun.J who has just been announced as this year’s guest designer at Pitti Uomo 89, promising a “one-of-a-kind” event. Oooh. Enough to get us sufficiently excited for January, and that’s no mean feat. Juun.J, who counts G Dragon, Pusha T and Rihanna as fans, will be the first designer from Korea to show at the event, his innovative, hybrid “street tailoring” making him the perfect fit for the Florentine fair. He’ll be joined by Sicilian Marco de Vincenzi, who has been chosen as the womenswear guest designer. “I feel so honored to be the womenswear guest designer for the next edition of Pitti. I accepted this invitation with pleasure, as a new opportunity to experience and work creatively on a performance art project,” he said. Pitti 89 is scheduled to run from the 12th-15th of January.
