Louis Vuitton Present New Objets Nomades Collection In Milan
Who doesn’t love a nice piece of furniture? I mean, personally speaking, I haven’t moved much beyond this one Swedish designer, don’t know if you’ve heard of them, they tend to specialise in furniture of the flat-pack variety, have a store in Tottenham…? But for those of you who aren’t into the whole self-assembly thing and are better financially endowed than we, you will be pleased to know that Louis Vuitton have expanded their Objets Nomades collection with an additional ten objects of aesthetic perfection to be presented to the public during Fuori Salone in Milan from April 4th to 9th at Palazzo Bocconi. The collection, founded in 2012, represents Vuitton’s dedication to the creation of all things beautiful, from hammocks to rocking chairs, foldable stools to suspended seating pods, collaborating with some of the biggest names in architecture and design du jour, including Atelier Oï, Maarten Baas and Barber & Osgerby (AKA the makers of the Olympic torch). I mean sure, these objects are examples of innovative design at its best, but will you receive a free Allen key with each purchase? Thought not.
