All aboard the cruise train! Which is not anything seedy, oh no – but instead the international trail of exotic climbs and far-flung destinations that we’ll be deposited in to see this next season’s Cruise shows. So where’s the next stop on this magical mystery ride? Well, it’s Rio de Janeiro – “The Marvelous City” (apparently) – where Louis Vuitton have today announced will be the location for their Pre-SS17 show next August. So what do we know of the Brazilian city? Big statues of Jesus, scantily-clad beachwear and constant carnival – right?! Something like that. Not sure if any of these will make their way into Nicolas Ghequiere’s collection, but you never know. Here’s hoping! It’s all part of next season’s Latin American extravaganza – with Chanel showing their Cruise show in the island nation of Cuba. Oh, and apparently there’s this thing called the Olympics or something. All aboard!
