Moschino Launch Their Steven Meisel-Shot Fall Campaign

Sawmill? Paper factory? Workroom? Whatever this place may be, these women appear to be inappropriately dressed to be flouncing about in it. Splinters, heavy machinery, moving parts – and that girl is (pretty much literally) wearing a paper bag. A health and safety breach if ever I saw one. That said, it’s not just any paper bag, but a Moschino paper bag and designed by the legendary Jeremy Scott, so it’s probably worth the risk. What you’re looking at here is Moschino’s latest campaign, shot by the legendary Steven Meisel, comes after his brilliant AW17 collection – remember the one with Kendall Jenner all wrapped up in a cardboard box? Obviously you haven’t forgotten, it was bloody fab.

The clothes themselves are a cherry-picked selection from the collection, which was a sort of playful musing on recycling and consumerism, featuring the aforementioned bag look and floor-grazing gown that Gigi closed the show in. Hoping the nice people at Moschino will send one of those ‘Fragile’, ‘Do Not Crush’ jackets our way – we want to wear it on the tube to prevent being suffocated by a large man’s armpit.
