Prada: SS16 Campaign

The girls are checking into a hotel. Well, it looks like a hotel. It has lobby-vibes. Who doesn’t enjoy a hotel lobby? That’s where you meet a handsome older gentleman who buys you a scotch on the rocks, feels you up and consequentially you fall in love and enjoy the spoils of his black AMEX card. Or so we’re told, anyway. We’re yet to experience. But that doesn’t mean we can’t fantasise about what we’d purchase once we had snared our high-flying boyfriend – Prada. Duh. Spring Summer 2016, to be exact, as demonstrated here so perfectly by Prada-veterans Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Pivovarova and newbie Yasmin Wijnaldum in Miuccia’s new campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel. Because all I want to wear this summer is that wonderful sequinned coat, one of those netty things around my neck. So I’m off to lurk in London’s hotel lobbies. Wealthy men beware.
