In the year 1968 Puma released the aptly named Roma 1968, to honour the Azzurri European Championship winners (this is football fyi, if your sporting knowledge is as limited as ours). Now, almost 50 years later, it’s back but better than ever, having been reworked and simplified by design God Tomas Maier (Creative Directer at Italian luxury house Bottega Venetta). Tomas knows a few things about making leather look good, and these shoes are no exception.

Simple and easy is how we like things, and the Roma 1968 is just that, form and function coming together to create the perfect sneaker. Being inspired by the design era in which the shoe was originally released helped create the re-design, “This shoe collaboration reflects a period of design I enjoy still today as well as a modern, minimalistic approach that I always try to bring to the products in our brand”. Shoe collaborations are the duets of the fashion world and this one is definitely gonna top the charts. Launching September 16th, with only 200 pairs being released, these won’t be on shelves for long, so hurry up and buy!
