Selena Gomez Stars in Coach’s 2019 Holiday Campaign
After a few days being unable to feel our fingers whilst typing, the team at Ten reluctantly agreed that it was time to turn on the central heating. As the temperature starts to drop and the evenings get progressively darker it’s beginning to feel a lot more festive. Compounded by the erection of the Christmas lights around Piccadilly and Regent’s Street, we can concede that our holiday spirt has been well and truly ignited by this year’s Coach holiday campaign starring Selena Gomez.
Unveiled today, Lights, Camera, Holiday features the actress, singer and the global face of Coach women’s auditioning alongside a host of of animated animals for a chance to star in Coach’s holiday window display. In the short film written and directed by Henry and Rel of Supermarché, there is an air of playful irreverence as Selena, an owl, pig, fox and frog go head to head to secure the gig of the festive season. Whether Selena made the cut or not we’ll never know, but she successfully landed the print campaign. Set against a snowy New York backdrop, captured by Steven Meisel, she emerges out of a frosted vintage car, clutching a metallic leather Parker bag in her lap. With a winning combo of make-up by Pat McGrath and windswept hair by Guido Palau, Selena is ready for whatever the holidays hold.
