Selena Gomez Is The Face Of Coach’s Fall Campaign, Shot By Steven Meisel
Is there no end to Ms Selena Gomez’s talents? The singer-cum-actress-cum-producer-cum-literally-everything has this morning been revealed as the angelic face of Coach via the release of the brand’s new Fall ad campaign, which, needless to say, looks very nice. Unsurprising, considering the crack team involved – Steven Meisel, Karl Templer, Pat McGrath and Guido Palau are just four of the names who lent their immense creative talents to the campaign.
Photographed in NYC, the photographs feature Ms. Gomez, cradling some buttery looking bags, making herself comfortable in the back of a 1976 Plymouth Fury. That’s a car, BTW. Who’s driving? Where’s she going? Has she got her seatbelt on? That’s kind of the point though – the vintage car, a recurring Coach theme is meant to be symbolic of the all-American optimism of the brand as well as the freedom and endless possibility of the open road (Murica!)
Launching alongside the Fall collection, Coach will reveal three short films dedicated to the new seasons bags: the Rogue, the Coach Swagger (yes) and the Edie, all of which star Ms. Gomez in her NYC apartment gearing up for a night on the razz. Stay tuned!
