As the first look – please see the official MESSAGE FROM TEN courtesy of our Editrix-in-Chief Sophia Neophitou:

This Issue is dedicated to SELF-EXPRESSION

It feels like a million years have raced by since the last issue. And there have been so many changes at Ten Towers, it’s ridiculous.

We have had our very firrst baby. Beautiful Beau Sonny Briggs was born four weeks early at 7.17pm on Monday, July 2, weighing 5.35lb. He obviously couldn’t wait to meet Mummy and Daddy (Phoebe and Briggs to everyone else). Now their beautiful adventure with their gorgeous, platinum-blond baby boy begins.

Our other major News at Ten is that Claudia Croft has joined the team as deputy editor, which I am absolutely thrilled about. Having worked together at The Sunday Times and been a regular contributor to the magazine, now she’s a fully edged member of Team Ten. My heart sings to know that she is ofically part of the gang and I’m just so excited that she’s fully part of my universe.

Also, a little acknowledgment and lots of thanks go to my beautiful Richard Gray, who continues to delight me in a million different ways. His support and commitment in totally coming to the rescue to close the issue have been phenomenal. Without his support, it would have been impossible.

And of course, Garth Spencer, whose tireless commitment, amazing creativity, never-ending patience and tolerating of me, for more hours than anybody else on the planet, cannot go unmentioned. He undoubtedly deserves a medal. He has been my rock for eight years and counting. I can’t express how grateful I am and how full of admiration I am at how he deals with every situation with patience, grace and kind- ness, always!

Adding to my list of thank yous: to our long-suffering art director, Michs (Michaela Nilsson to you all), for her hard work. In the absence of Phoebe, she has had to deal with me asking a million inane questions, as well as the redesign of both September issues care of the brilliant Alex Wiederin, who has given our beloved magazine a fashion face-lift.

Also, Sam Thackray, who is literally Mrs Fix-It. She makes everything right in our world of words and has been here since the very beginning. I adore you. Thank you, our voice of word reason.

Sadly, we are having to say a last goodbye to the beautiful Roxy Lola and Joel Traptow – in their brief time at Ten Towers, both have given me so much that I’m thankful for. I know they will go on to be such shining lights, and there will always be a place for them at Ten Towers. And so, as these beauties bid us farewell, we welcome the brilliant Dino Bonacic, who has already proved thoroughly brilliant and totally indispensable.

Finally, finally, the very biggest thank you to Phoebe Briggs, who has worked tirelessly and shown boundless energy and commitment every single moment that she has been part of my Ten universe. Endless gratitude to her – we’ll be thinking of her constantly while she’s away spending time with Beau Briggs.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly, without every single member of my beautiful team, none of this would be possible. I bow down in total gratitude every single day.”
