Watch: Dior Cruise 2019 Empty Space
If you, like us, can’t get enough of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior Cruise 2019 show in all it’s downpour maypole escaramuzas-on-horses drama, then we understand. So do Dior and so they have kindly released a video of the set, titled ‘Empty Space.’ It’s like our own private tour of the Chantilly Stables, chantilly lace flying in the wind, the 120 ribboned maypole (12 metres high, FYI) shining in the sunlight that took 100 hours to build with 80 people working on it. Oh yes they put in the work at Dior. It’s quite the idyllic setting, we wouldn’t mind living at the stables, escaramuzing it up every day in our Cruise Toile de Jouy dresses. The set itself was 120 metres in length, covered in 1500 square metres of oak planks with more than 5 kilometres of garlands used for decorations. Go hard or go home. All very worth it, a night we will never forget. Maria Grazia Chiuri knows how to put on a show.
