Dance away your January blues! At least, that’s what appears to be the message of this latest film from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Call it a homage to the night owls and party princesses, those very girls lauded by Vaccarello as the inspiration behind last year’s show. Well, they’re back, and bluer than ever. Shot on the balcony of what we assume to be a trés chic New York penthouse, a posse of Saint Laurent girls including Anja Rubik, Raquel Zimmermann, Maria Miguel, Hiandra Martinez, Adut Akech and Cara Taylor, cut shapes to the tones of New Order, Blue Monday. A stone cold karaoke classic if ever there was one. Here though, the girls keep it to dancing under the glare of UV, ordinarily the worst enemy of the average foundation-faced party gal, but in the below film, the girls are so beautiful it doesn’t really matter. Psychedelic!
