Wow! Loved Karl’s collection for the house of Chanel, set in a dottie and playful environment. Girls walked out in an array of painterly geometrics in bright colours printed on loose, sixties shifts, a pair of plaited buns on top of their heads resembling Minnie Mouse ears. Tweeds, let’s call them Mommie Dearest tweeds were worn with matching mini’s or super wide culottes and accessorised with contrasting Heidi of the mountains hair. This was young, vibrant, a little tongue in cheek and above all modern. Bravo!
