No 21: Ready-To-Wear AW19

Coming or going? Either way, Alessandro Dell’Acqua has you covered. The designer made sure his girls will be remembered for their entrances and their exits by designing a surprise into the back of many of his looks. A simple beige satin shift ticked all the chic boxes until the model swept past on her high heeled mules and we saw that her dress was open at the back, revealing a fetching pair of satin shorts. A glimmering green sequin cocktail number was similarly spliced and a trench coat was cut to reveal the shoulder blades. Talk about leaving a lasting impression. The designer made sure his women looked just as compelling from the back as they did from the front. This was 360-degree fabulosity in action.
