See backstage pictures from Roland Mouret’s spring/summer 2015 show.
Amongst the dramatic frescoes of sprawling nudes hanging in Roland Mouret’s venue of choice this season- the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, a sprawl of equally beautiful mannequins gathered. Whilst the masters of old used oils, master of the drape Roland Mouret uses cloth. This season there was a re-emphasis on the brilliance of his cut, with a host of must-have dresses guaranteed to make the red carpet rounds, within a plethora of daywear options. Pattern and palette was approached in an almost collaging manner, often successfully combining several in one look. The resounding motif in the line up being a set of boldly outlined bouquets. We’re certain Roland can expect an abundance of congratulatory ones waiting for him over at his Carlos Place HQ when he returns from Paris. A resounding success.
