Simone Rocha: Ready-to-wear SS17
There was a sense of weightlessness about Simone Rocha. It felt light. And airy. Like a cloud. There was a sense of something being suspended mid air. Sheer embroidered layers were belted around the body in soft puffs of fabric. There was an almost fairytale quality to Simone Rocha’s collection, a Victoriana fairytale. Basically what you would imagine a Grimm Brothers heroine to look like. A tale that transcended from daydream to sweet nightmare, and peppered with embroidered red florals. Think Bad Seed, think Bride of Chucky, when good girls, and good dolls go bad.
