Inside 10: Jacopo Etro Shows us His Favourite Things

My Favourite Things is our Inside 10 series where we take a peek inside the homes, studios and offices of our favourite creatives and let them show you the objects they love. Today, Etro’s Jacopo Etro takes us inside his office in Milan.

“This painting was donated to the Etro family by the Japanese artist Kazumi Yoshida.”

“This lamp is called Jacopo2. It is a special lamp, made in collaboration with Foggini, and out of methacrylate, with printed fabrics on the inside.”

“I found this painting in China in the Yunnan region. The phrase ‘Be lost in dream’ could be the motto of my life.”

“A schandmaske – a typical mask from medieval times. They were masks of shame that people had to wear as a punishment.”

“My Chinese Zodiac sign is the Tiger”

“I call this lamp my kryptonite. It gives me energy every morning. I bought it in the 1980s and it’s made entirely with recycled materials.”

“This represents a collaboration between Etro and the French artist encoreunestp for FIAC 2018 in Paris.”

“This drawing was made by the famous fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez.”
