Agi & Sam: London Collections Men Ss16
According to the press notes, Agi & Sam, this season are all about perfecting the basic. They’re focusing on things they want to wear and making those bits better. After all, you can’t reinvent the wheel, but you can make it roll smoother. There’s a utilitarian undertone to this, and a seventies stripe motif. I say seventies, not because of the stripe but the colour palette. White shot through with black, pale blue, that milky coffee colour, aka cafe au lait. A sort of depressed seventies rainbow, that moment before the Prozac kicks in. A quick note on the stripe, remember those seventies striped towels? It’s that kind of stripe.
