Take A Closer Look at Kim Jones’ Military-Inspired Dior AW21 Collection
A Kim Jones collection for Dior is never short of spectacle. For AW21, the profoundly talented designer turned to artist Peter Doig to create a handsome wardrobe that riffs off ceremonial wear.
The designer channels the masculine glamour that comes tied to military uniforms, drawing on Dior’s couture heritage with divine embroidery, embellishment and diamond broaches. Frock coats, tunic jackets and elegant trousers have an air of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club about them, reworked for a new generation of fashion fans who want to look smart and feel great doing so.
