This season The Hon. Louis Elliot, Andrew Cooper and Alex Blamire have joined Dunhill’s league of extraordinarily well-dressed gentlemen. Shot by Annie Leibovitz in a palatial drawing room (this is definitely a drawing room as opposed to a living room), the gentlemen exhibit a thoroughly British sartorial sensibility. (A sensibility the brand is known for.) Andrew Cooper wears a pair of creased chinos and an unbuttoned shirt over a polo shirt. He looks classic but not old-fashioned. And he looks relaxed but, at the same time, elegant. Two tricky balances to temper but ones that John Ray and Co. have done with absolute ease. As usual.
