Ermenegildo Zegna: Made In Japan

Japan is well known for its technological innovation. Like yesterday, when news broke that the country has developed its first street view for cats. This revolutionary software will help you find ‘kitty friendly establishments, all from about a foot off the ground.’ It’s this kind of cutting edge innovation that drew Stefano Pilati to the country – to celebrate the opening of the latest Ermenegildo Zegna store in Ginza, he has designed a special capsule collection, fittingly entitled ‘Made in Japan.’ Using the knowledge of local artisans and craftsmen, Pilato designed the capsule from the country’s fabrics and leather, making them in local factories. The result? As the nice people at Zegna describe – ‘Made in Japan enhances the Japanese heritage in fabric development and fashion-making, merging a unique savoir faire with Italian design in an impactful statement of borderless style.’ Unfortunately for us, the collection is only available in Ginza and Osaka. Anybody going to Japan any time soon?

Made in Japan by Ermenegildo Zegna launches on September 5th in Ginza and October 1st in Osaka.
