Ten Loves: Ermenegildo Zegna #WhatMakesAMan Campaign T-Shirt

We all strive to find that perfect graphic tee. The more exclusive, the better. It’s such a phenomenon that we see teens each week skipping school to align the streets of Soho in desperate attempts to get into the doors of Supreme and Palace before the most desired t-shirt of the week sells out completely. But what if we shifted our focus from chasing clout and started splashing the cash on tees that are a cause for change?

Part of the A to Zegna initiative that produces a “variety of educational programs that aim to challenge stereotypes about manliness,” the Ermenegildo Zenga Group has launched a capsule collection of #WhatMakesAMan t-shirts. Emblazoned with “Change makes a man” and “Freedom makes a man”, Zegna uses these tees to challenge toxic masculinity head-on. Proceeds from the capsule will go to supporting Cesvi, an Italian charitable organisation who will embed the funding into several educational programs across the world, which will aim to break-down rigid masculine ideals and promote a sense of openness to the next generation.
