An ode to fans, past and present. That was the inspiration of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon at Kenzo, who thought not of rock icons but of said icons’ legions of faithful followers for autumn/winter. But forget scruffy band t-shirts or heavy metal iconography: this was a slick, tricked out bunch of colourful tailoring with all the peppy pop of an X Factor hopeful’s dream tour wardrobe. The name of the label’s founder was even scribbled in ribbon across graphic sweatshirts. As far as branded band merch goes, they were the most desirable we’ve ever seen. Sorry for fangirling.
