Ten Commandments: Ermenegildo Zegna: The Fantasy

In a world of candy-floss-gerbil-haired world leaders and mad-as-a-bike dictators with cardboard missiles and a height complex, isn’t it lovely to see something beautiful and peaceful like the Ermenegildo Zegna show? Oh, how we yearn for summers in an Italian walled garden, where a waiter called Alessandro pours fine wines and perhaps almost certainly on purpose brushes past your shoulder with the front of his trousers and then winks and you get embarrassed but secretly love it… Imagine this and a wonderful world where everybody wears Ermenegildo Zegna and talks endlessly about the craftsmanship and tailoring. And about how this standout brand have made a name for themselves as purveyors of fine menswear and next-level accessories. Imagine, too, how that waiter just happens to leave his phone number on a piece of paper that somehow falls into your hand and, after a series of flirty texts, you meet properly and fall in love. Then marry and wear made-to-measure Ermenegildo Zegna on the day. Oh, away grey skies and black clouds and take us to Zegna world, where divine types in pink suits wink a lot. By the way, you really all must try on an Ermenegildo Zegna jacket to understand the cut of it. And the fabrics. They are, say everyone in the tailoring world, “the very best money can buy”.
