Ten Tips: How To Wear A Ralph Lauren Backpack
You would think there’s only one way to wear a backpack: on your back. And you would be right. The clue is, after all, in the name. And yet you would also be wrong. Because nothing is ever as easy as it sounds. Take, for example, this fine backpack of black canvas and leather, with sturdy silver zips and fancy buckle, from Ralph Lauren. Obviously it looks best, as well as correct, when worn on the back. But wearing it on your back is not as easy as simply slinging it on. Don’t be ridiculous. There is an art to backpack wearing. It is important to remember that wearing one incorrectly can lead to increased pressure on your neck, shoulders and back. Which is why you should always wear yours with each shoulder strap over the relevant shoulder, rather than with both straps slung over just one shoulder. True, it does take a while longer to put it on, but the extra effort is worth it, as it can help prevent future back problems. Take a moment to adjust the shoulder straps so the backpack is high on the back and the shoulder straps are comfortable on the shoulders. Your backpack, unlike your arse, should not sway from side to side as you walk down the street. A swaying backpack can lead to chafing. Always remember that a stable and secure load is better than a loose one.
