Burberry Launch The Pocket Bag With A Helping Hand From Bella Hadid

As summer draws to a close, you’re probably looking on getting your wardrobe ready for winter. Whilst the sensible thing would be to splash out on a new coat, or a nice woolly hat, we’re always drawn to a new bag. A little silly, we know, but how could you not be tempted? Especially something as brilliant at this brand new Burberry creation. Dubbed the Pocket Bag, this is structured tote is inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s latest trip into the house’s archive. “For me, a lot of my creative concepts come from discovering old house codes and then creating new ones,” says Tisci. “I have always loved going into the archives and that is where I found the inspiration for this Pocket Bag.” The designer reinterpreted the original bag’s silhouette by adding a front pocket and leather taping. The Pocket Bag takes its cues from Burberry’s equestrian heritage, finished with a contrast topstitching and hand-painted edges.

If all that hasn’t won you over, the inaugural Pocket Bag campaign stars none other than Ms Bella Hadid, who is pictured by the dynamic photography duo Inez and Vinoodh. Taking inspiration from the Burberry Animal Kindom – a house code created by Thomas Burberry and reignited by Tisci throughout his tenure so far – Hadid poses with a Burberry beige big cat. The supermodel flaunts the Pocket Bag in its various sizes and hues, which includes a punchy orange number. Ladies, gents and everyone in between – say hello to next season’s It bag.
