Are you planning a little holiday to China? If so, make sure to get in touch with Riccardo Tisci who’s already planning his next big adventure. After showing the Burberry AW20 show during London Fashion Week, Tisci will be taking his collection to Shanghai. According to the brand: “driving engagement and inspiring luxury consumers in China is a key focus for Burberry in 2020,” so it makes total sense to host their first destination show since Tisci joined the brand in the country’s biggest city. The show will take place on April 23rd, when they will also reveal extra looks created and sold exclusively for the market. Later in the year, the British megabrand is also planning to open a social retail store in Shenzhen Bay as part of an exclusive partnership with Chinese tech powerhouse Tencent. But lest not get too ahead of ourselves. First thing’s first – the Burberry AW20 show unravelling on Monday, February 17th at 5pm. Let the countdown begin!
