Dior Is Taking Its Cruise 2021 Show to Lecce, Italy

Swiftly following on from the news that Burberry will show its SS21 collection in the British outdoors with no audience, Dior is the latest major fashion house to announce its plans as we enter the next stages of the yearly fashion calendar. Through a digital press conference held by CEO of Dior Couture Pietro Beccari and creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior announced it will stage its Cruise 2021 collection with an audience-free show held behind closed doors. Originally scheduled to take place back in May, Dior will stage the show in its original location Lecce, Italy, which is often dubbed the most beautiful city in Puglia. Fashion fanatics across the globe will be able to experience both the beautiful architecture of the city and Chiuri’s latest dazzling designs through a live broadcast. The brand also revealed that its SS21 womenswear collection will go-ahead later this year and the brand is planning on holding a small live audience. It seems fashion’s future is beginning to take shape.
