Ermenegildo Zegna: #ZegnaVoices
Do you hear voices in your head? Telling you to do stuff that you don’t want to do? Well, apart from considering seeking professional help, obv – just block them out by listening to somebody else’s. Like Stefano Pilati’s, perhaps. Because he has a very nice voice, as evidenced in the special video above. And he’s the head of design at Zegna. Which makes him very clever. In it, he talks about fashion and the run-up to his Autumn Winter 2016 show, all set against a nice little orchestral soundtrack. It is both a relaxing and stimulating experience. A bit like having a vigorous brain massage. Perfect for any one overwrought with their own thoughts/somebody else’s. Purge them all. The video’s part of the #ZegnaVoices project, where a selection of lovely gentleman (“opinion makers”, apparently) like Olivier Zahm, Benn Northover, Li Chen, Tomoki Sukezane and Giacomo Gianniotti, will all create special content on a special mini-site (below) over the next few days before Zegna show their AW16 collection – “bringing a kaleidoscopic view on the latest collection”. You can also watch the show live there on January 16th at 10.30am. Handy.
