Giorgio Armani Premier Their Latest ‘Films Of City Frames’ Series

Looking at Giorgio Armani’s third instalment of films for their Films of City Frames series, I can’t help but feel that my life is in serious need of a bit more sun and adventure. What came of all those fantasies of trekking through rainforests in, say, Bolivia? Aiding all those helpless baby turtles reach the ocean in Costa Rica? They are, for now, unfortunately on hold, but these films are opening up the travelling itch. This newest instalment charts the enviously exciting lives of five beautiful and talented individuals, all of whom rely on their Armani specs in some capacity to do whatever it is they need to do. When I say whatever, I actually do mean it –  a former rodeo queen, a wildlife film maker, a designer-cum-surfer (who knew?). The private screening of these films was held at the South by Southwest Conference and Festivals in Austin, Texas and was followed by an exclusif cocktail reception hosted by Roberta Armani and actor Dev Patel, who donned a pale pink, double-breasted blazer for the evening. Speaking on the project, Giorgio himself added, “Cinema, just like fashion, is a wonderful medium, because it keeps endlessly renewing itself thanks to the contribution of young talents who bring their unique point of view… This edition also expresses a message of true multiculturalism, which I think today is particularly important.”
