Hugo Release A Capsule Collection of Sportswear and Tailoring Hybrids

Are you more of a suit or a trackies kinda person? Actually, why choose when you can now have both, courtesy of Hugo and their latest capsule launching as part of their SS20 collection. Celebrating the transformative formalities of contemporary menswear, the so-called Track Tailoring combines elements from action-ready sportswear with refined ideas of male elegance. It’s all about hybridisation in 2020 – whether partnering people or construction elements of garments, the focus is on creating unexpected mixes of familiar codes. Hugo’s take on the trend embraces that 24/ 7 approach to dressing as a suit and tracksuit become one. The textiles riff on a classic check used in tailoring, while the jacket silhouette morphs from a bomber and into a blazer. The trouser shape is tapered, but also carries the sporty element of a ribbed waistband and cuffs. The look is modern, the feel is 1970s, but everything about this collection is led by a dedication to comfort. Because, if you’re not feeling comfy while staying out for 72 hours straight… you must be doing something wrong.

The Hugo Track Tailoring collection is available to shop online and in selected stores.
