Step Inside Our Cocktail Party Celebrating The Launch of Osman Yousefzada ‘The Go-Between’

It’s not everyday one of British fashion’s most beloved names releases a memoir. So, when we found out the brilliant Osman Yousefzada was putting out his debut book, The Go-Between: A Portrait of Growing Up Between Different Worlds, it was a cause for celebration.

Last night, we made our way down to The Parlour at The Maine Mayfair for an intimate evening where we toasted to the coming-of-age story, which follows Osman as he grew up in a devout, patriarchal Pashtun community in 1980s Birmingham. Co-hosted by 10’s Editrix-in-Chief, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, guests flocked to the swanky venue for a pre-London Fashion Week knees up.

Amongst those who attended was ES Magazine editor Ben Cobb, queen of London nightlife Princess Julia and Scottish design titan Christopher Kane. Members of the 10 extended family, both past and present, made their way down, including photographers Adama Jalloh and Jermaine Francis, editors Ted Stansfield and Alexander Fury, multi-hyphenates Dan May and Cozette McCreery, Machine-A’s Stavros Karelis and models Ajak Deng and Sheerah Ravindren, amongst many others.

Guests sipped on delicious cocktails made with Ciroc Vodka, Sipsmith Gin and Enimigos Tequilla, and snacked on tasty nibbles courtesy of The Maine. The night ended with plenty of dancing to the eclectic sounds of DJ Shimmy. If only every Wednesday was this fun.

A special thank you to The Parlour at The Maine Mayfair, Ciroc Vodka, Sipsmith Gin, Enimigos Tequilla, Natalia Cassel, Beaufort Spirit, Michael Hennegan and Osman Yousefzada.
