“Oscar Niemeyer once said that the curves of his concrete building were intended to mimic “the curves that I find in the mountains of my country, in the sinuousness of its rivers, in the waves of the ocean, and on the body of the beloved woman.” So, Brazil and booty combined to inspire buildings like, say, the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum, used as the backdrop to Nicolas Ghesquiere’s 2017 Cruise show for Louis Vuitton (read our full review of the show here)”

Day 3

“Goodbye beautiful Rio de Janeiro, stunning backdrop for Louis Vuitton’s equally stunning Cruise 2017 show on Saturday, and the many wonderous new adventures we have had here. Here’s to many, many more. The next stop on Ten Towers’ fabulous fashion cruise? It’s back to England – tomorrow Dior will show their latest collection in the country pile of Blenheim Palace, location of the house’s legendary 1954 couture show, where Princess Margaret famously watched from the front row. And now us. Ah-mazing. Naturally we’ll be covering in our usual intrepid manner. Stay TUNED…”
