Peter Dundas To Launch His Eponymous Label During Paris Couture

Erm hello – exciting news coming through this morning that the immensely talented Peter Dundas is set to return to the fashion schedule this Sunday with the reveal of his eponymous label, Dundas. Squeals of excitement all round – the first collection is a capsule with Moda Operandi, showing as part of the Haute Couture schedule in Paris. Obviously Mr Dundas comes with plenty of experience, cutting his teeth at Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli, which he left earlier this year.

In an interview with Vogue Runway he said the whole thing began, as most good things do, with Beyonce – namely THAT dress, designed for her Grammys performance. “The beginning for me was Beyoncé, that was the first drop. This is an organic continuation of what we started, having drops every few months. This Moda Operandi capsule is part of the whole.”

Talking of the Dundas girl, he said: “There’s definitely a sensuality to it, a joy of life. Hopefully there’s an element of glamour, an element of freedom, of rebelliousness. Confidence. A little of a bohemian hippie girl. I like to make women feel seductive. That’s why I love cut and embellishments that make you shine.”

It’s good to have you back.
