Pharrell Is Designing A Capsule Collection For Chanel

Clap along if you feel like this was long overdue. The happiest musician of them all who also is Karl Lagerfeld’s long-term muse and a fashion icon like no other (remember those Oscar shorts?) is Chanel’s next collaborator. And if you’ve been watching this space for long enough – you’ll know the French fashion house rarely ever does collabs. But this is Pharrell Williams – the man that’s already walked a Chanel show, starred in a campaign, created a soundtrack for the show and then customized a pair of trainers for the brand at a special event at Collette (R.I.P.). This was written in the stars.

As announced last night at the Replica show of their nautical Cruise 2019 ‘La Pausa’ collection, this new capsule collection will be discovered on March 29th 2019 in Seoul, South Korea when the new Chanel flagship boutique opens. Smartly titled Chanel-Pharrell (get it?), the collection will be exclusive to the Korean store until April 4th 2019 when it will drop in the brand’s worldwide stores. Expectations based on the sneak-preview of Pharrell’s last night outfit? Eclectic, embroidery and euphoria. Take those Es and run with them.

The Chanel – Pharrell capsule collection is going on sale on March 29th 2019 at the new Chanel flagship in Seoul, South Korea.
