Prada Linea Rossa Is Back, Back, Back Again
Precision, refinement and function never go out of style. Just look at Prada Linea Rossa – launched in 1997 as a sporty diffusion of the high-end Italian looks walking down the Milan catwalk, the line defined how everyone looked (or at least wanted to look like) back in the day. The high-performance aspect fused with design excellence, making the clothes functional yet fabulous. Prada Linea Rossa was the precursor of the streetwear daze that’s now infused every aspect of fashion. You can’t throw a stone without hitting at least three different branded bucket hats. And who was there first? Well Miss Prada, of course.
It’s now 2018, a whole decade after the red line entered our lives and just in time for the big anniversary cake – it’s back, back, back again. Debuted for the second time around at the Prada men’s Autumn/ Winter 2018 show, Linea Rossa has just dropped into stores worldwide, re-confirming the relevance of the sportswear-inspired range. Simplicity is key – with no embellishments in sight and just the red tag with the logo breaking the clean lines of the garments, the unisex pieces are making a statement in the most understated way possible. The range includes outerwear and footwear, as well as specific sports garments made for skiing and snowboarding. To our ears, this sounds like: Prada Linea Rossa – all year round, all the time. Yes, please.
Prada Linea Rossa is available in Prada stores and department stores worldwide, as well as online.
