Underwear as outerwear is the key notion of the spring season. But trust Dior’s Raf Simons to find something fresh and new and exciting in its expression. His Dior models marched out with sweet understudy exposed – not namby slip dresses, but starched shorts and bodices, simultaneously sexy and severe, part of the codes Raf Simons is rebuilding for the house. They peeked out under tailoring, or were exposed by gossamer-fine slip dresses, a new string to his bow and a new notion of dressing for next summer. Fresh, uncomplicated, unpretentious.
