Camila Cabello Is The New Guess Girl In Their Latest Jeans Campaign
Stranded at a Motel somewhere in the middle of Palmdale desert in California, Camila Cabello only has model Alex Dellisola for company in her first ever campaign for Guess Jeans. Not bad company, we must say. Call it a homage to Guess’ all-American heritage style, the campaign is peppered with aesthetic references that just scream Americana, which, for us at least, equates to cars, motels and tumbleweed. But it doesn’t just stop at the setting, this is, after all, Guess’ AW17 campaign and as such, there’s plenty of denim; oversize jackets, high-waisted skinny jeans, cut-off shorts and push-up bustier tops – all very chic, all very American.
“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Guess on this incredible campaign,” said Cabello. “I’ve grown up loving their aesthetic and not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be lucky enough to be a part of it”. Cute. Chief Creative Director for Guess, Paul Marciano was equally delighted with Cabello’s involvement, adding, “Choosing Camila to be the face of Guess this Fall celebrates that Guess girls are multi-talented, dynamic and accomplished women”.
