Last week we introduced you to Erdem X, the portfolio made to celebrate the brand’s 10th Anniversary (a decennial, apparently). Now – watch it come to life. As if by magic. Like a Christmas miracle! The video was filmed in collaboration with Sølve Sundsbø (who also worked on the portfolio) and Erdem’s very own sister, Sara Moralioglu – and is available to watch now on SHOWStudio. A family affair! The video shows the stunning Guinevere Van Seenus looking angelic in 10 different Erdem looks, one for each year. And the inspiration for Guinevere’s timeless look? “The starting point and inspiration came from Richard Avedon and Irving Penn,” Erdem said, “I was looking at their portraiture work from the forties and fifties. I loved the idea of having these beautiful and simple canvas backdrops.” So watch the video above to reminisce on days of Erdem past…
