TGIF #105: Best Of London Fashion Week SS19
The London catwalks may have been glossed up and put to rest until January when the men’s shows bring the madness back, but we’re still humming all the catchy tunes we’ve heard during Fashion Week. More than ever before, music played a huge part at LFW this season. It seemed like the fashion designers faced the reality of the dying London nightlife and took matters into their own hands. If there’s no clubs to dance in – let’s just do it on the catwalk!
From Soul II Soul’s soft R&B at Victoria Beckham and every possible cover of A Natural Woman at Roland Mouret through the psychedelic rock of Sparks at Alexa Chung, all the way to Robyn’s new hit Missing U at JW Anderson. The party train of SS19 is an eclectic one, going at the speed of light. And if you look hard enough, we’re on it – doing the boogie.
