Re-live the ‘Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams’ Exhibition from the Comfort of Your Own Home

We’re all in need of a bit escapism these days, and no we’re not just talking about sitting in the back garden with an Aperol spritz pretending to be in Marbella… For those who were lucky enough to catch the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, or at the V&A here in London, you will be able to recollect on what a truly enchanting experience it was. Documenting over seventy years of Doir history, from the creations of Monsieur Dior himself, right through to the designs of Maria Grazia Chiuri today – the exhibition celebrated the visions of each and every creative director that has held the helm at the prestigious house. Packed with initial sketches, never-before-seen toiles and breathtaking garments that sauntered down the catwalk in yesteryears, the exhibition covered Christian Dior’s complete history, as told through by the work of its masters. Didn’t get a chance to catch it? Or do you simply want to relive the magic again? Well, now you can! Dior has released a new film that gives a fly on the wall view into the exhibition being built. Nearing an hour-long, you will witness the exhibition being curated from the ground up, with guest appearances from Maria Grazia Chiuri herself. The mini-documentary is smothered in elegance and raw talent throughout, a true must-see.
