Antonio Berardi: Ready-to-Wear SS19

You don’t always need Spice Girls to bring out the best of female power. Sometimes, it’s enough to have Antonio Berardi. For his SS19 collection, our fave Italian decided to skip on the show and do something way more meaningful. 11 women. 11 stories. 11 personal connections. Berardi is the kind of guy that treasures emotions in his work, and these 11 beautiful women are the ones he cherishes the most. That’s why he’s letting them tell his story for the season to come.

Vogue’s Sarah Mower, Jimmy Choo’s Sandra Choi, Daily Telegraph’s Lisa Armstrong, Alison Loehnis of Net-a-porter, Vogue Italia’s Sarah Maino, La Rinascente’s Tiziana Cardini, VS babes Aiden Curtiss and Cindy Bruna, fashion qween Anna Dello Russo and Ten’s very own Claudia Croft and Sophia Neophitou. Each of them a talented, powerful woman paving her own way in the industry. Some as editors and designers, others as buyers and models – these women have been ongoing supporters of Berardi, both as a designer and human being.

And what are they wearing? Well, new season Berardi bien sûr. Marvelous prints take center stage, with total looks including matching boots. And there’s shapes for everyone  – billowing for mornings, structured for the days, and bodycon for after dark. Berardi is a master of craft, with his stellar tailoring techniques and luxurious fabrics never letting down. He’s a talented man, surrounded by fabulous women that care for him. And if this collection is anything to go by, it’s serving him well.
